A native of Covington, Georgia, Jennifer Thigpen is an accomplished professional whose personal triumphs are an inspiration to many.

Jennifer earned dual bachelor of business administration (BBA) degrees in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Georgia (UGA). For the past 20 years, Jennifer has excelled in progressive roles at various global corporations including AIG VALIC, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management, and Alex. Brown, A Division of Raymond James. She became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2007.

Jennifer is currently a Senior Associate at Jason Young and Associates, a financial services firm that delivers sophisticated solutions for individuals and institutions. Jennifer provides comprehensive financial solutions to high net worth private families and tax-exempt organizations including associations, foundations, and endowments in addition to for profit businesses.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has earned numerous awards and commendations including being ranked in the Top 10 out of 1600 Branch Associates for Raymond James in 2017 and 2018.

A devoted wife and mother of two, Jennifer is an avid reader who enjoys exercising with her friends. In the past 7 years, Jennifer has trained for and participated in a several half marathons as well as boot camps and fitness challenges.

Jennifer is a cancer survivor and her survivorship experience has given her a deeper appreciation for life, and she truly believes that gratitude is everything.
